2. Definitions
“Company”, “we”, “us” means CS PRIME ACADEMY LTD.
“Client” means the paying parent or guardian (or the student if aged 18+).
“Student” means the learner receiving tutoring.
“Programme” means the CS Prime Academy tutoring programme described on this website.
“Lesson” means a scheduled tutoring session delivered online or in person as agreed.
“Term time” means periods when the Student is expected to study at their institution, if relevant.
3. The service
We provide tutoring and educational support for A level Computer Science (and related study support as described on the site). The Programme may include lessons, diagnostics, study plans, homework, feedback, and communications between sessions.
We do not provide school or exam board services and we cannot guarantee specific exam outcomes except as expressly stated in our Guarantee Terms.
4. Booking and scheduling
Lesson times are agreed in advance.
Rescheduling: the Programme may include a reschedule allowance as described on the website. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, reschedules must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled Lesson time.
No-shows and late arrivals: if the Student does not attend, or arrives late, the Lesson may be counted as delivered and not refundable.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are shown on the website or agreed in writing before the first paid Lesson.
Payments are processed via our payment provider (for example, Stripe). Receipts may be issued electronically.
All prices are in GBP. VAT is not charged unless we are required to register for VAT in the future.
If a payment fails, we may pause delivery until payment is received.
6. Client and Student responsibilities
To get results, the Student must participate, attend Lessons, and complete agreed work.
The Client and Student must provide accurate information about the Student’s current level, exam board, and targets.
7. Communications
We may communicate by email and other agreed channels for scheduling and support. We aim to respond within reasonable timeframes but do not provide emergency services.
8. Intellectual property
We own the teaching materials, templates, and resources we create unless stated otherwise. The Client and Student may use materials for personal study only and must not share, sell, or publish them without written permission.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Refunds are handled in line with these Terms and any specific Guarantee Terms that apply.
Outside the guarantee, fees are generally non refundable once Lessons have been delivered or reserved, except where required by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the Programme if:
(a) fees are unpaid,
(b) there are repeated no-shows,
(c) there is abusive behaviour towards staff, or
(d) the Student repeatedly refuses to participate in the agreed study plan.
In such cases we will act reasonably and communicate in writing.
11. Liability
Tutoring is educational support. Exam performance depends on many factors outside our control.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to the Client for claims arising from the Programme is limited to the fees paid for the relevant period in which the claim arose.
Nothing in these Terms affects the Client’s statutory rights.
12. Privacy
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer rules require otherwise.
